Joint Membership & Collaborations
ASM members now have the opportunity to become joint members of the Institute of Materials, Minerals, and Mining (IOM3), the U.K. engineering institution whose activities encompass the whole materials cycle. This includes exploration and extraction, characterization, processing, forming, finishing and application, as well as product recycling and land reuse. ASM members may purchase a joint membership in IOM3 to receive an array of electronic benefits at a reduced rate.
This is an annual subscription that runs for a calendar year. If you purchase a subscription after September 1st you will receive access to benefits until the end of the following year. You can purchase this e-membership subscription when you renew your ASM membership or when you join ASM. If you wish to add this membership at any other time, please contact Member Services.
ASM Members now have the opportunity to become joint members of The French Society of Metallurgy and Materials, SF2M. The SF2M contributes to the promotion of materials sciences and techniques, to the sharing of information on the progress of knowledge and innovations in the field of Metallurgy and Materials Science, by the organization of technical and scientific conferences. It promotes materials science and technology, particularly for young audiences. The SF2M represents its members with other scientific associations in France and abroad. In addition to this, SF2M members benefit from reduced registration fees for events organized by SF2M and by FEMS (of which SF2M is a member), and reduced subscription prices to Matériaux et Techniques and Metallurgical Research & Technology.
