ASM CONNECT, a new and improved member-only benefit, is a powerful resource for members to network with 20,000+ colleagues across a variety of material related industries, exchange knowledge, and share solutions.
Launched by ASM International in 2020, ASM CONNECT automatically enrolls all ASM members into a private online community where they can participate based on discussion topics, network year-round with no geographical barriers, engage in knowledge sharing, post questions, discuss ideas and share experiences and thoughts. In addition to being able to chat with colleagues, members are able to participate in discussions with subject matter experts, access a library of resources specific to communities and post images, videos and documents to share with others. ASM CONNECT is also a landing space where ASM Chapters and Affiliate societies can organize events and communicate to their members.
Access to ASM CONNECT is tied to ASM membership. Members can join communities, update individual profiles and manage the frequency of community notifications.
