The Emerging Professionals Committee

Scope

The Emerging Professionals Committee is an ASM national committee whose members assist with guiding the direction of the Society by coordinating programming and/or products relevant to the demographic. This may include:

  • Serving as liaisons to other national committees.
  • Organizing a symposium at ASM’s Annual Meeting (IMAT).
  • Hosting webinars on various subjects.
  • Promoting/awarding the ASM Emerging Professionals Achievement Award.
  • Crafting content for AM&P magazine, ASM Social Media channels, etc.

An important function of this committee is helping its members make professional connections early in their career.

For more information on the ASM Emerging Professionals Committee, please view the committee’s FAQ or testimonials from past members.
