The purpose of this program is to encourage the engagement of the next generation of thermal spray professionals in the ASM Thermal Spray Society; to provide industry insights through professional development opportunities; and to provide valuable access to a highly experienced network of academics, researchers, and industry practitioners.

NOTE:  before applying for this program, please read the eligibility requirements/rules below. You will be asked to provide a picture/copy of your student ID.  A limited number of membership sponsorships will be available.  Act fast and apply today to make sure you can be considered!   The application process will close on November 30, 2025, by 11:59 PM Eastern.

ELIGIBILITY/RULES

1. Only early career professionals and/or full-time university/technical school students are eligible.
2. The applicant must be currently pursuing an undergraduate or post graduate degree at a College or University, focusing on thermal spray or surface engineering research or be a post doc or early career professional pursuing a career in thermal spray.
3. Complete application – applying does not guarantee acceptance.  All questions/fields must be answered. Incomplete applications will not be considered and automatically denied. Click here for link to application
4. A limited number of applicants will be accepted. Membership will begin once the qualifications have been verified. Note: the number of members accepted will be determined by the number of paid sponsors.
