TSS Hall of Fame
The Thermal Spray Hall of Fame, established in 1993 by the Thermal Spray Society of ASM International, is a means of recognizing and honoring outstanding leaders who have made significant contributions to the science, technology, practice, education, management and advancement of Thermal Spraying. The Thermal Spray Hall of Fame is a bond between our industry’s past and its future.

TSS President’s Award for Meritorious Service
The TSS President’s Award for Meritorious Service recognizes exceptional service to the Thermal Spray Society and the thermal spray community. Nominees should be members of TSS with at least 10 years of service.
Nomination deadline by September 30 of the year prior to that in which the award is to be given.

Journal of Thermal Spray Technology Best Paper Award
The Journal of Thermal Spray Technology (JTST) Best Paper Award is chosen annually for a specific volume of the journal by an international committee of expert judges. The winning authors are presented with a plaque at the International Thermal Spray Conference & Exposition. Authors of the second place paper are presented with an Honorable Mention certificate. When a review paper warrants citation, an outstanding Review Paper Citation certificate is presented to the authors of that paper.
The Editorial Committee believes it is important to evaluate the quality of engineering and scientific contributions published in JTST and to provide recognition of excellent work and its publication. Each paper is reviewed and evaluated on its merits for scientific and engineering content, originality, and presentation style.
