ASM Search – Autocomplete

We recently added an “autocomplete” feature on our website search. As you type in the search box, you can find information quickly by seeing search predictions that might be similar to the search terms you’re typing. If you click on a search prediction, you do a search using that prediction as your search term.  This is designed to save you time searching against the vast amount of content on our website.

The search queries that you see as part of Autocomplete are a reflection of the search activity of users and the content of web pages. Autocomplete predictions are automatically generated by an algorithm without any human involvement, based on a number of objective factors, including how often past visitors have searched for a term. If no predictions appear for a term or phrase, it could be because the search term is not popular enough.

If you see an offensive Autocomplete prediction, please email us and we’ll use your report to improve predictions for future visitors.
