Heartbreak Hideaway is book two of the Rivera Brothers series. This is Hazel Martinez and Jett Rivera’s story. Hazel is married to a man who is ruthless, unforgiven, heartless as well as cruel and Hazel is just a possession to him. Jett Rivera is kinda like a playboy he doesn’t do relationships, he and his brothers own a security business, when they were asked if they can protect Hazel, Jett took the job, he is heartless so he will be focused on the job at hand. Hazel wants revenge for what happened to her so now she doesn’t trust as easily. The chemistry between Hazel and Jett is smoldering hot, and eventually they could no longer ignore the attraction they have for each other. Author A.K. Steel did another amazing job in the way she brings Hazel and Jett’s story to existence through her writing. I was completely captivated from the beginning of the story and remained that way throughout the entire book. This book is both suspenseful and a page-turner. I would highly recommend reading this book as well as the first one. I can’t wait to see what A.K. Steel will bring out next.
