ASM International Return Policy (Physical Products)

  • New and unopened merchandise may be returned within 45 days (Domestic) or 60 days (International) of receipt for an exchange or refund of the merchandise cost only (we are unable to reimburse shipping costs). Items must be returned in new/resaleable condition, and undamaged.
  • If you received a defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped item from us, please call us (440-671-3800) or email us ([email protected]) within 10 days of receipt of the product. We will gladly ship a replacement and assist you with your return. A Return Authorization # is still required for the quickest means of processing.
  • DVDs, CDs, computer software, or other media may be returned for refunds only if unopened. If opened, they may be returned only for replacement of the same item.
  • A restocking fee of 20% of the product price or the amount given as a discount, whichever is higher will be charged. Restocking fee will be deducted from any refund due.

How to Initiate a Return:

  1. Submit a Return Authorization Form to ASM International, via e-mail [email protected] or fax (440)338-6614
  2. Receive a response containing a Return Authorization # or reason not approved. Any product returned without prior approval or Return Authorization #, will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
  3. A copy of the completed (and countersigned) Return Authorization form must be included with your shipment in order to receive return credit.
  4. Package your items securely.
  5. Write the Return Authorization # on the outside of the package.
  6. Return shipping is at your expense. ASM is not liable for lost or damaged packages. Please use a traceable, insured method of shipping when returning your item(s).
  7. Retain your tracking information and shipping receipt until your refund is issued.

Payment: When paying an invoice that includes a deduction for a return, please note the RA# on the payment.
