About Chapters
From social gatherings to technical talks, Chapters allow for access to local expertise and networking. They are independently organized and administered by regional volunteers in areas with strong member interest and engagement. Each Chapter's activity level varies based on their volunteer makeup and local culture.
To Join/Update
ASM Membership is required to officially join a Chapter and be added to their local roster. Already an ASM member? Login to your MyASM to see your Chapter. If you don't have a current Chapter affiliation, or would like to change your affiliation, please contact our Member Service Center to have your record updated.
Local Officers
Local volunteers generously give of their time to keep Chapters running. If you are a local officer, we thank you for your support! ASM charters Chapters in geographic regions upon petition by members. Chapters are only established in areas where interest and enthusiasm can sustain the local organization, and requires a volunteer champion to lead the effort locally.
