SMST WILLIAM J. BUEHLER AWARD
The SMST William J. Buehler Award shall recognize excellence in Shape Memory or Superelastic Alloy (SMA) technical innovation. This Award shall recognize those who have provided an exceptional amount of effort and valuable return on effort in their service to advancing Shape Memory and Superelastic Alloy Technology. Nominations are reviewed and pre-discussed by the Shape Memory & Superelastic Technologies (SMST) Awards & Nominations Committee. The recipient is then selected by a committee including SMST President, Vice President, and Chair of the A&N Committee.
Nominations are due by March 1 of the year in which the Award is to be presented.
