Journal of Failure Analysis and Prevention Best Paper Award
The Journal of Failure Analysis Best Paper Award was established in 2006 to recognize the author or authors whose paper has been selected as the best of those published in a specific volume of the journal. The winning authors are presented with a plaque at the ASM Leadership Awards Luncheon, which is held annually in conjunction with IMAT. The award includes $1000 worth of ASM International products and services. Selection of the best paper is conducted by the JFAP Editorial Board through a ranking process that includes all papers published in the volume.
President’s Award
The FAS President’s Award shall recognize exceptional service to the FAS and the failure analysis community. Examples of such service includes, but are not limited to, committee service, service on the Board of Directors, organization of conferences or symposia, development of education courses and technical content, student and general public outreach. While any member of FAS is expected to further the Society’s goals through service, this Award shall recognize those who provided an exceptional amount of effort in their service to the Society. The recipient is selected by the FAS President.
