Technical Authors Information (Oral & Poster)

SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT

Authors of both oral and poster presentations can expect acceptance notifications on May 1, 2026. Upon acceptance, authors will be required to submit a full manuscript and a PowerPoint presentation prior to the conference. Poster PowerPoints are for content review purposes only.

Please note: Authors may present a maximum of two papers (oral and/or poster).

Abstract Requirements

When abstract submission opens, the following requirements will apply:

  • Abstracts must be a minimum of two pages

  • Must include images, figures, and references

  • Maximum file size: 10 MB

  • Do not include the title or author names in the uploaded file
    (This information will be entered separately and inserted automatically)

  • Authors are responsible for checking spelling and word count prior to submission

Manuscript Information

Accepted authors will be required to submit:

  • Draft manuscript in Word format

  • Final manuscript in PDF format

  • All submissions must be in English

Upon acceptance, authors should begin securing any necessary approvals for the release of confidential or proprietary information and begin work on their first draft. A mentor and session chair will assist authors through the manuscript development and presentation process.

Manuscript templates and detailed formatting guidelines will be posted soon.

Presentation Summary

Abstracts submitted by authors are not published online. A short presentation summary entered during submission will be displayed online prior to the conference for attendees to preview upcoming sessions.

Additional AV guidelines and slide formatting requirements will be provided closer to the conference. Authors using embedded videos or animations should pay close attention to these requirements once released.

Presentation Details
  • Each author will have 20 minutes total, including a 5-minute Q&A

  • Meeting rooms will be equipped with:

    • Computer with USB capability

    • Podium microphone

    • Lavaliere microphone

    • Projection screen and data projector

Slide Design Recommendations:

  • Maintain 0.75” (19mm) margins

  • Minimum 24-point font

  • Use dark text on a light background for optimal readability

All presentations will be submitted in advance and pre-loaded onsite prior to the conference.

Poster Presentation Details

Poster authors are required to be present during the designated poster session to engage with attendees and discuss their research. Authors should be prepared to deliver a 3-minute summary and answer questions.

Poster Size Requirements:

  • Maximum size: 4 ft wide x 4 ft high (1.2 m x 1.2 m)

  • Must be clearly readable from 5 feet (1.5 meters)

  • Pins will be provided onsite

  • Posters must be brought to the event

  • Onsite printing will not be available
