AUTHOR INFORMATION
Authors whose abstracts are accepted will receive notification in May of 2026 regarding the date and time of their presentations. Changes to the schedule may occur between the initial notification and the conference, and authors will be notified if their assigned dates or times change.
Accepted abstracts will be available on the event website within the technical program details and will also be provided electronically to attendees before the conference.
The technical program does not allow for commercial sales presentations. We kindly ask that you keep your presentation technical and informative. This approach benefits both presenters and the IMAT audience.
PRESENTATION DETAILS
Each author will have 20 minutes for their presentation, which includes a 5-minute question and answer session. Meeting rooms are equipped with a computer (with USB capability), podium microphone, lav microphone, projection screen, and data projector. For electronic presentations, we suggest maintaining 0.75″ (19mm) margins on each slide and using a minimum 24-point font. Black or dark text on a white or light background is recommended for optimal visual clarity.
Note: IMAT does not produce proceedings, so there is no need to submit a manuscript or PowerPoint Presentation for publication. Please bring your PowerPoint presentation with you to the conference for upload before your presentation.
POSTER PRESENTATION DETAILS
Authors are required to present their poster to conference attendees during the poster session. A brief summary of your research that you can deliver in about 3 minutes. Be ready to answer questions and engage in discussions with those who stop by your poster. The maximum size for a conference poster is 4 feet wide by 4 feet high (1.2 meters by 1.2 meters). Make sure your poster fits within these dimensions and is easy to read from a distance of about 5 feet (1.5 meters). Pins will be provided for hanging the poster onsite.
Note: Posters should be brought to the event. Printing is not available on-site.
